My Pain Management philosophy:

THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO MAINTAIN A PAIN FREE BODY IS TO FREQUENTLY:
*SELF TRIGGER POINT SHORTENED MUSCLE FIBERS AND
*STRETCH & STRENGTHEN MUSCLES BY
*USING YOUR OWN BODY WEIGHT.
Why all three?..........

To maintain a strong, balanced & Pain Free body, one must reduce muscle imbalances.
The best way to do this is to stretch tight muscles & strengthen weak ones.....BUT.....one
cannot successfully stretch & strengthen muscles that have 'trigger points' (shortened muscle fibers that decrease muscle range of motion & blood flow. ) Releasing trigger points increases muscle range of motion  which will increase your stretching & strengthening results. You can release trigger points by using a golf ball or tennis ball to apply sustained pressure on the restricted muscle. The most effective way to strengthen muscles is by using your own body weight because it forces the stabilizing muscles to become strong which helps heal injuries and decreases the risk of future injury.
Performing the proper stretches, exercises & trigger point therapy for your specific needs is crucial in successful
long term pain management.
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE  is an important part of healing injuries, decreasing muscle pain &
also helps you realize where your specific trigger points are located.
HOME CARE THERAPY INSTRUCTION is also available which is a one -on -one session
that teaches you simple techniques that you can do at home to decrease pain.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your 'pain free' goal.
